This exposes the teeth’s highly porous dentine, making them more sensitive.

Use Toothpaste for Sensitive Teeth

Toothpaste developed with non-irritating ingredients to desensitize teeth can help alleviate discomfort. Look for toothpaste that is labeled for sensitive teeth. If you use mouthwash, a rinse without alcohol may be less irritating.

Use a Mouthguard
